Naked Yoga

Yamas-Niyamas

Haha, I knew that subject line would make you open my email on a hot summer day!

My intention was not to not trick you into reading my email but share with you a subject that has been on my mind so much these days…the real understanding that LIFE IS ONE BIG CIRCLE!  So why Naked Yoga?  As many of you know I’ve spent the past 2 weeks moving house.  In my efforts to downsize I have been going through boxes and boxes of STUFF, deciding what I need to let go of and I came across this book Naked Yoga, the first ever Yoga Book I ever bought! As spiritual beings having a human experience, it is natural for us to want to keep evolving, growing and changing… but it is hard! The expectations of others, our upbringing, our habits and most of all our FEAR of the unknown keeps us stuck where we are for years and before we know it, time has passed and we are filled with regrets for shifts and changes in our lives that we were too afraid to take! Don’t let that happen to you! Life it too short not to experience it to the fullest. Part of living a life of fulfillment is taking risks and jumping off the cliff of the unknown. This is called TRANSFORMATION. Read More

car·pe di·em 5 Ways To Make The Most of Your Present Time!

Quote-on-Present

car·pe di·em

exclamation

  1. used to urge someone to make the most of the present time and give little thought to the future.
One thing that life has taught me is to be in the present moment.  When I step out of the present, I either step back into the past, the land of guilt, shame or regret, and when I jump forward into the future I land in the space of worry, fear and anxiety!  Where I am happiest and most in balance, is the present moment.  It took me a long time to understand this concept and even longer to “get there”.  In fact, I have to remind myself every day to “be in the present”…it is not a natural place for us humans to be!! The mind does not like to be present–it loves to jump back and forth into past and future like a ping pong ball, but the heart knows that the present is the coolest place to be!!

Here are 5 ways that I help my ping pong mind stay present and can help you too! Read More

Its hard to believe its almost Summer

Can you believe how fast this year is going?  Its hard to believe its almost Summer!

WP_20140507_008 (Web)I wanted to share an email I got this week from one of my Detoxers that really touched my heart.

“Sharon, joining your detox group at the eleventh hour was indeed a blessing to me.  It was exactly what I needed, as it afforded me the time and space under your caring expert guidance to take time out for me.  I have spent the past several years nurturing and teaching others about health while neglecting my own physical wellbeing.  I was pooped and all these years of giving I now realize I need to be refueled on a daily basis to preserve me and best serve others.  This was my first introduction to Yoga and now I am in love with it for life, thank you.  I am now less stressed more focused, more flexible (still have a far way to go), more at peace and connected with myself.  The “Hour of Power” concept is now a part of my daily lifestyle and I enjoy it best outdoor walking early mornings breathing the fresh air, clearing my mind and reconnecting with my creator.  Its my time and I claim it every morning.  The moments of group sharing in our circle was also a new emotional experience  for me as I faced two major cross roads in my life.  This exercise reminded my we are never an island.  Everyone faces their own challenges along life journey.  But we will better face these challenges as we take time to reconnect with ourselves God and those persons we meet along life journey. You are truly a breath of fresh air and I look forward to sharing learning and working with you in the future.  Keep up the good work and living your divine destiny”

So many of us are givers, we look after so many people, and take care of so many things that all of a sudden we wake up one day and realize that we have not taken care of ourselves.  We are exhausted, we feel old, we feel resentful, we have nagging health issues, we don’t like how we look in the mirror and we have no idea where to start to change all this.  We have tried fad diets, gone on vacations, we have signed up for promising programs but nothing changes.  Sometimes the simplest things in life is just what we need.  Most of the time all we need is to Breathe, Relax, Let Go and Allow Your Life to Flow!  So, if this is speaking to you, think about my 7 Day Live Fit Detox.  It is a life changing experience.  All you have to do is show up with an open heart…everything else is taken care of for you.

3 Weird Things I Do and Why You Should Too!

The-Greatest-Gift-Cartoon

OK, call me weird or what but these are three things I do a lot as part of my commitment to “Self Care”.  The dictionary defines Self Care asactions and attitudes which contribute to the maintenance of well-being and personal health and promote human development.“ Have you been practicing self care? It can be a touchy subject as in our society, self care can mean being self indulgent or selfish, yet, it’s anything but. Taking good care of yourself not only makes your life more fulfilling and contributes to your well-being, but it also extends to others. Get Back on Track with My 3 Day Mini Detox!

Hope you had an amazing Easter Holiday!! Don’t know about you, but I had a super-social what I call RE-TOX weekend catching up with family and friends and I woke up this morning feeling the effects!!! OMG, It’s hard to believe how bad 4 days of partying can make you feel!  In just a few days of eating NOT what I would call a High Vitality Diet and drinking way too much alcohol, I feel bloated, lethargic and acidic and just not my usual high energy self!  Anyway, I had a ball doing it, but now its time for a 3 day mini-detox to reduce the acid in my blood from one too many glasses of wine, way too much food, late nights and of course my all time favorite, Easter Eggs!

So how do I get alkaline in three days?

HOW YOU CAN HELP US HELP SISTER JACKIE AND THE KIDS THIS SUMMER!

This was the highlight of our Easter Holidays! My kids, niece and nephew gave up (almost) all their Easter eggs to do an Easter Egg hunt for Sister Jackie and her 40 kids at The House of Love in Discovery Bay. It was a beautiful morning full of Love! For more about Sister Jackie and the House of Love and how YOU can help us this summer please read more…

What is Courage? “Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, “I will try again tomorrow.”
