One thing that life has taught me is to be in the present moment.  When I step out of the present, I either step back into the past, the land of guilt, shame or regret, and when I jump forward into the future I land in the space of worry, fear and anxiety!  Where I am happiest and most in balance, is the present moment.  It took me a long time to understand this concept and even longer to “get there”.  In fact, I have to remind myself every day to “be in the present”…it is not a natural place for us humans to be!! The mind does not like to be present–it loves to jump back and forth into past and future like a ping pong ball, but the heart knows that the present is the coolest place to be!!

Can you believe how fast this year is going?  Its hard to believe its almost Summer!

Get Back on Track with My 3 Day Mini Detox!

Hope you had an amazing Easter Holiday!! Don’t know about you, but I had a super-social what I call RE-TOX weekend catching up with family and friends and I woke up this morning feeling the effects!!! OMG, It’s hard to believe how bad 4 days of partying can make you feel!  In just a few days of eating NOT what I would call a High Vitality Diet and drinking way too much alcohol, I feel bloated, lethargic and acidic and just not my usual high energy self!  Anyway, I had a ball doing it, but now its time for a 3 day mini-detox to reduce the acid in my blood from one too many glasses of wine, way too much food, late nights and of course my all time favorite, Easter Eggs!

So how do I get alkaline in three days?



This was the highlight of our Easter Holidays! My kids, niece and nephew gave up (almost) all their Easter eggs to do an Easter Egg hunt for Sister Jackie and her 40 kids at The House of Love in Discovery Bay.
